Trust your florist
You choose the size and the colours. Sharon chooses the flowers.
Walk into any florist and ask for “something in reds and whites” and this is exactly what happens: they look at what they have, at what works together, and at what will still look right in three days. You don’t pick the stems. That is the part you are paying them for.
It works the same way here, with one difference — soap flowers don’t wilt, so what Sharon builds is what you keep. She works from your colours and the size you’ve chosen, and decides the blooms herself: roses, peonies, daisies, carnations, foliage, whatever makes the best bouquet in those colours that week.
Which means something worth saying plainly: no two bouquets are ever the same. The photographs in the gallery are bouquets Sharon has already made and sent — they show you what her work looks like, not a design you can order a copy of. If you have your heart set on a particular arrangement, talk to her first rather than ordering and hoping.
How it’s made
Sheets of scented glycerin soap are cut into petals, warmed until they will bend without cracking, then curled and set one at a time around a wire stem. A Petal Paradise is roughly three hours of work.
The dewy finish
Glycerin naturally draws a little moisture from the air, so the petals carry a faint wet sheen — the same look a real flower has an hour after rain. It is meant to be there and it does not wash off, dry out or mark surfaces.
Looking after it
Out of direct sunlight, away from water, dusted now and then with a soft dry brush. That is the whole care routine. Soft rose and white florals over a warm, powdery base — strong for around twelve months, then gentler for years after.
